The LLM counseling services provided by the Graduate and International Programs office are for all LLM students—both foreign-trained and US-trained—as well as for alumni and current students. We are happy to review your resume and cover letter, conduct mock interviews and informational interviews, discuss networking, and provide general career advice and support. We can meet in person at the Graduate and International Programs office, or over the phone.
GW Law participates in the International Student Interview Program at New York University in January of each year. This is the capstone job search event for international LLM students seeking post-graduation employment. In addition, the GW Law Career Development Office hosts an online job portal that includes a wide range of employment opportunities for international LLM students. Our international LLM graduates have secured employment opportunities with large private law firms, international organizations, and nonprofits.
